Installing your PTS certificate

Authorization and authentication in PTS is performed using X.509 certificates signed by a trusted Certificate Authority. To access the PTS a user should add their certificate to the favourite browser. The text below describes, step-by-step, how to install PERT certificates, using Mozilla Firefox version 1.0 as an example. Note, you have to save the PERT certificate before you are able to install it.

Go to “Edit -> Preferences” (Fig. 1) and then to “Advanced -> Manage Certificates” (Fig. 2):

Before you use the certificate with PERT Ticket System, you should change the installed authority entry. In Certificate Manager window choose the page “Authorities”. Scroll down until you see the entry from PSNC called “PERT Ticket System CA”. Select it and click 'Edit' (Fig. 4).
